This is a list of magazines that will most likely appeal to men. In choosing these titles, many obvious subjects that are commonly owned in libraries, and are generally of special interest to men had to be left out. The following were not included; business, computers, gardening, money and finance, music, photography, professional sports, science, team sports, or travel.
In creating the list, the union catalog of Suffolk County libraries was checked. If a periodical is owned by less than five libraries, or not owned at all, an asterisk has been placed next to the title. That may help you to determine if a magazine is widely owned or not.
The ISSN's and descriptions for each periodical were taken from the Gale Directory of Publications and Broadcast Media on GaleNet.
