Divisions

Computer and Technical Services -- CATS
With its membership involved in the complexities of tech processing and automation, this division's programs keep step with the ever-evolving challenges of information access.

Division of Academic & Special Libraries -- DASL
Members of "DASL" represent all aspects of service in the Academic and Special Library World -- from the librarians who work in special departments of large universities to the specialist who does it all at a small corporate library.

Reference & Adult Services Division -- RASD
"RASD" members deal daily with a patron information pursuit as varied and specialized as the many committees that operate within the division. These include: Electronic Resources; Long Island History; Health Concerns; Outreach Activities, Resources and Services (OARS); Reader's Advisory; Career and Resource Exchange (C.A.R.E.); and Media.

Support Staff Division -- SSD
The purpose of the Support Staff Division shall be to unite into one division all of those who are interested in clerical, security and/or custodial issues in libraries.

Young Adult Services Division -- YASD
They have the YAttitude! Members of this YA division meet monthly to exchange ideas, information and expertise on how to get and keep the attention of their special public.
