{"id":7,"date":"2025-05-10T15:03:51","date_gmt":"2025-05-10T15:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scla.net\/rasd\/librarymarketing\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2025-06-09T20:08:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T20:08:13","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/scla.net\/rasd\/librarymarketing\/index.php\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Library Marketing Committee<br><\/strong>The Library Marketing Committee is a commission of the <a href=\"https:\/\/scla.net\/rasd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reference and Adult Services Division (RASD)<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/scla.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Committee Chair: Jim Garvey<br>Committee Co-chair: Anastasia Bazilevskaya\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of the Library Marketing Committee is twofold:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>promote the use of marketing and public relations strategies, tactics, and tools in public and academic libraries of Suffolk County<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and to help educate and inform the staff at Suffolk County libraries on marketing best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year the committee selects a winner of the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rasdpr.wordpress.com\/slma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Suffolk Library Marketing Award <\/a><\/strong>which recognizes the Best Marketing Campaign by a public or academic library in Suffolk County.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Library Marketing CommitteeThe Library Marketing Committee is a commission of the Reference and Adult Services Division (RASD) of the Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA).
