NYU\u00a0Professor David Vinjamuri\u00a0and\u00a0Architect Joe Huberty of Engberg\u00a0Anderson Architects will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic will change libraries\u2019 short-\u00a0and\u00a0long-term approach to space.\u00a0 As so many libraries re-opened quickly, it\u2019s a good time to re-evaluate how these new norms will change library design in the future.\u00a0 How can short-term furniture purchases\u00a0and\u00a0layout changes be made strategically so that funds won\u2019t be wasted once the pandemic runs its course? \u00a0Vinjamuri\u00a0and\u00a0Huberty also will update you on the latest thinking for safety considerations, including a discussion of HVAC system performance\u00a0and\u00a0public restrooms.<\/p>\n
