Did you know that Suffolk County Library Association\/RASD has a Long Island History Committee? This Committee was formed by a group of librarians who had an interest in Long Island’s wonderful history and wanted to make it accessible to all Long Islanders.<\/p>\n
The committee meets quarterly to plans tours and events that spotlight the history of Long Island.<\/p>\n
If you are interested in learning more about Long Island history for your job or to enhance your knowledge of the subject, the committee would welcome you.<\/p>\n
