In an effort to help promote financial literacy in an engaging and encouraging way that is impartial, and raises awareness, the Career & Business Reference Services Committee presents: Financial Planners Panel Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm Via Zoom REGISTER TODAY! - https://tinyurl.com/CNBSHOWCASE Join us as we hear from a panel of financial planners, who will discuss the critical financial areas that we all navigate at some point in our lives. Each speaker will give their take on the importance of empowering individuals by sharpening their financial knowledge to better prepare and plan for the future. Each presenter will have 15 minutes to pitch their program ideas on topics such as becoming financially independent, investing basics, common money mistakes, college planning, taking control of debt, understanding social security, retirement risks, and much more! We look forward to seeing you all there!

RASD NAC & MOSAIC Present: Ways that Libraries Can Serve Au Pairs Tuesday, April 19, 10 am

WAYS LIBRARIES CAN SERVE AU PAIRS To RSVP to Amber Gagliardi at gagliardiamber@mcplibrary.org There are over 800 Au Pairs on Long Island from all around the world working for families providing childcare. Many Au Pairs bring the children in their care to the library to attend Storytime and other children’s programs. However, many of them are also interested in attending English conversation groups, cultural and language programs as well as fitness and social programs. Join the Multicultural Outreach and Information Services Committee (MOSAIC) and the New Adults Committee to explore ways we can serve Au Pairs in the library. Tuesday, April 19 - 10am SUFFOLK COOPERATIVE LIBRARY SYSTEM
