On October 19, 2017, the PR & Marketing Committee sponsored an interactive workshop on best practices for video production. Emmy Award nominated Producer/Director Steven Taub, with more than 20 years of experience in the field, shared his experience and best methods to inexpensively create promotional videos for your library and its programs. Topics that were discussed include:

  • Video production and library promotion
  • Ways to incorporate video media and video marketing into your library’s communications
  • Promotion and community participation
  • PSA’s, shorts, bios, documentaries, comedy and even the possibility of a video newsletter

Did you know that RASD has a committee dedicated to Millennial Patrons?

The New Adult Committee (NAC) meets once a month to learn about issues related to helping millennial patrons in libraries. Meetings include guest speakers, round-tables, and more! Join us if you work with millennials or have an interest in serving them in your library. Meetings are one Monday a month at various libraries. The schedule is posted at SCLA.
