Mission Statement
The Career & Business Reference Services Committee (C&B) is a group of Suffolk County librarians whose mission is to share and promote career services, business reference resources, and information services to library professionals with the goal of educating members of their communities.
Our Goals
- To provide a professional forum for the exchange of career and business resources
- To assist in developing career and business support services
- To encourage awareness of career resources and business services available through public libraries
- To establish a professional voice that connects librarians with job seekers, business owners, and their communities.

The Career & Business Reference Services Committee (C&B) is part of the Reference and Adult Services Division of the Suffolk County Library Association, a regional chapter of the New York Library Association.
