The Media Committee is back and we will be meeting Tuesday, April 18th at SCLS.  Please come for coffee and networking at 9:30am, the meeting will begin at 10am.

Our agenda for this meeting is as follows:

  1. Circulation trends with media formats
    1. How bad is it?
    2. Podcasts and their impact on audiobooks
    3. Streaming media’s impact
    4. Where can I find my stats?
  2. Shelving issues of different formats
  3. New media formats in the library
  4. Virtual Reality – what is it’s place in the library

PR & Marketing Committee and Electronic Resources Committee Meeting, March 30

The RASD PR & Marketing Committee and the Electronic Resources Committee are hoping to have a joint meeting at which we will discuss how to hold a Technology/Database/Electronic Resources/Educational Resources Fair at your library. We are looking for libraries who have already done it or are planning to do so, and if they would like to share their successes and failures at a meeting. It would tentatively be Thursday, March 30th.
