Title: Human Trafficking Prevention with ECLI-VIBES

Place and Time:January 10th, Wednesday, 9:30 -11:30 am

Description:

January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a presidentially designated observance created to raise awareness about human trafficking and to educate the public about how to identify and prevent this crime.

Please join us for a presentation by ECLI-VIBES and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, both members of the Suffolk County Anti-Trafficking Initiative (SCATI), to learn about the prevalence of human trafficking here on Long Island, potential indicators, resources available to the community, as well as ways Suffolk County libraries can work with these organizations on education and prevention efforts.
