The biggest reasons why people didn’t print from their mobile devices 2011-2012

1) Lack of access to a printer (48%)
2) Lack of support from a mobile device (32%)
3) No need to print was third, at just (29%)

January 2013 Technology Information Forum Meeting

Hi Folks,

Hope you all had a wonderful New Year! I sincerely hope that 2013 finds all of you healthy and happy!
I have no doubt that this year will bring about great technological changes and challenges. We look forward to getting through them together!
Remember that the TIF Group belongs to all of us and we value everyone as members and active participants in our demonstrations and discussions. We welcome new topics and ideas and appreciate your time and dedication to this group. If you have an idea for a topic or something you would like to demonstrate to the group, please contact me to arrange this.
Our first TIF meeting of the new year will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Sachem Public Library. The original schedule of Thursday, January 10th proved to be a conflict. Sorry for the short notice and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Details are as follows:

How often does tech have meetings with regular staff to talk about changes?
How do you inform the staff if there is a probem: phone/ webanner/ cry out loud?

We have plenty to talk about! We will also leave time for discussing what’s going on in our own library world.
